ENEA is the National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development, a public law body aimed at research, technological innovation and provision of advanced services to businesses, public administration and citizens in the fields of energy, environment and sustainable economic development.

ENEA has highly qualified personnel, advanced laboratories, experimental facilities and instrumentation of excellence for the implementation of projects, studies, tests, evaluations, analyses and training services with particular reference to product and process innovation and the exploitation of results to contribute to the development and competitiveness of the Country System.

Since its foundation in the '60s, its strengths are applied research, technology transfer and technical and scientific assistance to companies, associations, territories, central and local administrations: also for this reason, unlike other research bodies, the institutional reference is the Ministry of Economic Development.

The areas of specialization are energy technologies (renewable sources, storage, smart grids) where the Agency is also the coordinator of the National Energy Technology Cluster, nuclear fusion and safety (where the Agency is the national coordinator for research), energy efficiency (with the National Agency for Efficiency), technologies for cultural heritage, seismic protection, food safety, pollution, life sciences, strategic raw materials, climate change. Among the emerging issues, ENEA supports the production system and public authorities (Ministry of Environment and Ministry of Economic Development in particular) in the transition towards circular economy and resource efficiency.

To strengthen its activities, ENEA collaborates with several national and international research organizations and institutions such as Texas Tech University, Standford Research Institute, New Delhi University, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, ICTP, TWAS, and participates to technology platforms and networks such as EERA (European Energy Research Alliance), ECRA (European Climate Research Alliance), MEDENER and Enterprise Europe Network, the largest network of services supporting competitiveness and innovation for SMEs.

E.R.I.C.A. - Educazione Ricerca Informazione Comunicazione Ambientale (Environmental Education Research Information Communication) was founded in 1996 in Alba (CN) following a tragic flood that hit Southern Piedmont two years earlier, with the aim of dealing with the environment, both in terms of communication and technical support to public bodies and private organizations.

The topics we work on, mainly, are waste management, risk prevention, water cycle, energy, organic farming and environmental sustainability.

In more than twenty years of activity we have worked in more than 2.000 municipalities, provinces, regions, consortia and companies throughout Italy, Europe and in different parts of the world.

We have designed environmental services, carried out feasibility studies, created communication campaigns, training courses, organized environmental education activities and sustainable events.

We have been producing food packaging for more than 40 years, focusing on quality and innovation. We start with a rigorous selection of raw materials, scrupulously follow every stage of the production process and take care of every aspect of our products, from printing to packaging, down to the smallest detail. We can guarantee complete traceability of every single sheet or bag that leaves our plant, to protect our customers and end consumers to the fullest extent possible, and our daily commitment has enabled us to obtain ISO 9001 certification.                                                       
Our assortment includes not only traditional packaging, such as laminated paper and kraft bags, but also specialty papers, such as olean or glisser greaseproofs, and our patented Ideabrill® line: the eco-friendly, heat-sealable freshness protector, capable of preserving all the organoleptic characteristics of fresh foods for longer. 
To further add value to these products, our R&D department works in collaboration with the Department of Food Science at the University of Camerino, which has been following us for years to study new packaging and further improve existing ones. 
Our products are therefore "good inside," but also "beautiful outside": in fact we take care of the graphics of each packaging creating tailor-made solutions and, thanks to the partnership with OCALAB, we study in combination multimedia communication ideas. All this makes it possible to transform every packaging into a highly effective communication vehicle.

EUMAKERS is the 3D branch of Rigenera Biocompound, a leader in the plastic sector of regeneration and compounding.

The company was founded in early 2014 has become a leader in Italy and Europe for the production and marketing of PLA filaments for 3D printing. Actually EUMAKERS can count on the widest range of colors on the market (over 100 tones available). The experience and results acquired over the years by the Rigenera laboratories allow the EUMAKERS to be at the forefront in the field of plastics research and to introduce in the market an increasing variety of products. Quality of materials and service, attention to sustainability (with the use of reclaimed material), design, choice of products and colors, competitive prices. These are the keywords of a company that does not limit their objectives to the care of its core business, but EUMAKERS intends to go with the customer (whether an individual or a company) through the experience of 3D printing at all levels.

Our history starts in the '40s, when the Cattaneo brothers: Annibale, Paolo and Carla founded the Vetreria Cattaneo, located in the central Via Gian Giacomo Mora, Milano. Besides the production of blow moulded glass containers for the Italian market, thanks to their technical ability, they also built the first machines for automatic and semiautomatic production in their workshop. 
These machines were then sold to different glass factories around the world. The company was restructured in the '60s, changing its name into IVISC (Industria Vetraria Italiana S. Cristoforo). It was based in Trezzano Sul Naviglio, with a plant of more than 40.000 square meters. Bormioli Rocco Spa bought it in the ‘80s. Three of Annibale's sons: Vanni, Carlo and Marco, born between the '50s and '60s grew up during a huge economic boom in Milan. After completing their studies, they were charmed by glass production and they started to work in the family company. After selling to Bormioli Rocco Group, the 3 brothers, on the strength of their experience in the factory, decided to establish a new company dedicated to the sales and decoration of glass and plastic containers for the cosmetic industry: 
Eurovetrocap Spa. During the last 35-years, the group has seen significant growth, also through the acquisition of some competitors, thanks to its strategy, designed to meet the requirements of the cosmetic industry and its fragmented supply chain. In 2019 the company had a turnover in eccess of Euro 50 million, 100 employees, one branch in Tuscany, a partner in Paris, a sales force in 30 Countries and product sales in 98 markets.

We set out to simplify the clutter of products that were in our cupboards, to create an all in one solution that provides more clean with less stuff.

The manufacturer of bags, films and flexible packaging Plásticos Romero, of Molina de Segura (Murcia), has changed its name to Eversia. This change comes in its 40th anniversary in the market and responds, as stated in its press release, "to the evolution experienced in recent years in the field of responsible consumption and extended responsibility in the production process."

Eversia is one of the leading converters of plastic packaging, with a volume of 40,000 tons per year placed on the national market, divided between commercial bags (39% of total turnover), waste bags (35%), automatic packaging film (10%), food paper (10%) and paper bags (5%). In recent years, it has focused its commercial and R&D strategy on a catalog in which concepts such as compostability, eco-design and the use of recycled material are the basis of its developments.

With 8 million tonnes of plastic leaking into the ocean every year, Evo & Co. aims to reduce this number by creating movements to raise awareness and offers a range of sustainable alternatives to single-use plastic products.
