Valentina Gianfrate

Architect and PhD in Architectural Technology and Design.

She is a researcher with a contract type B in Design and lecturer at the Master’s Degree Course in Advanced Design of Services for the Built Environment. She propose experimental teaching activity, based on experiential learning, through the work on concrete and operational case studies. The strong interdisciplinarity is based on an integrated approach, constantly confronting reality, local and global challenges.

Priority areas of research are related to the redevelopment and enhancement of the built environment through urban micro-design, climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies, and technology integration at the urban scale. She is involved in international design and competitive projects.

She is author of articles of national and international relevance on the topics of service design, rehabilitation and technological innovation.

Beatriz Leal Ramos

From a holistic and multidisciplinary perspective, she seeks to support organizations in placing people at the centre of their processes through social innovation, designing meaningful and satisfactory products and experiences with research, strategic communication, user experience, service design and gender perspective.

With 10 years of experience, she is a demanding, methodical, responsible and proactive professional, capable of leading transformation processes in organizations based on people.

She leads high-performance multidisciplinary work teams through effective communication and efficient management of actions and resources and she has the tools and skills to structure and define measurable objectives in any organization.

She has a global vision of the demands and variables of a project or consultancy, skills in project management, agile methodologies, research, strategy, user experience (UX), service design, design culture, digital content strategies, gender perspective and university teaching.

Luz María Velázquez Sánchez

Dr. Luz María Velázquez Sánchez is an associate professor in the Department of Humanistic Studies and leader of women’s development projects and gender equity programs at Tecnológico de Monterrey.

She is a specialist in women’s professional development, gender equity, leadership, personal, family and work life balance, social responsibility and economics.

She studied her doctorate in economics and business at the University of Deusto, Spain and obtained a Cum Laude mention. Doctoral Thesis Professional Development of Women and Reconciliation Policies in the case of Associated Advertising Agencies.

She designs and teaches classes on Women’s Professional Development and Gender Equity at the Tecnológico de Monterrey; Business Ethics and Business Economics. She has designed and taught courses on social responsibility and leadership in master’s programs at EGADE Business School.
