Purpose
Law No. 206 of 27 December 2023 sets out comprehensive provisions for the enhancement, promotion, and protection of Made in Italy products. Its aim is to preserve and promote Italian excellence, cultural heritage, and national roots, supporting economic growth and competitiveness within the European Union internal market.
Scope of application
It applies nationally to all productive and cultural sectors involved in the valorisation of Made in Italy, including both agricultural and non-agricultural products with protected geographical indications, innovative technologies, education and training initiatives, and promotion and anti-counterfeiting measures.
