Design for circular Made in Italy. How to foster for efficient Waste Management into manufacturing ecosystem

This paper investigates how circular design principles can be leveraged to enhance waste management efficiency within the Italian manufacturing ecosystem. Through analysis of current practices and systemic barriers, the authors propose design‑driven strategies that integrate material flows, stakeholder collaboration and digital tools to support circularity. The study highlights pathways for aligning design management processes with circular economy goals to strengthen value creation in Made in Italy contexts.
