SIG group
SIG Group AG is a Swiss industrial group specialising in aseptic packaging, headquartered in Neuhausen am Rheinfall, founded in 1853 as the Schweizerische Industrie Gesellschaft (a railway wagon factory, later also firearms, hence the separately divested SIG Sauer brand).
The company pivoted into packaging from 1906, entering the aseptic liquid food packaging segment in 1989 through the acquisition of Germany's PKL (later SIG Combibloc). Today SIG manufactures aseptic cartons, bag-in-box systems and spouted pouches for the sterile packaging of food and beverages without refrigeration, along with the associated high-speed filling machines.
It is one of the world's leading competitors to Tetra Pak in the aseptic carton segment.
With around 9,600 employees, 2024 revenue of €3.3 billion and over 57 billion packs produced, SIG is listed on the Swiss Exchange (SIX) and operates in more than 100 countries.

Oggi SIG produce cartoni asettici, sistemi bag-in-box e spouted pouch per il confezionamento sterile di alimenti e bevande senza necessità di refrigerazione, oltre alle relative macchine di riempimento ad alta velocità.
È uno dei principali concorrenti mondiali di Tetra Pak nel segmento del cartone asettico.
Con circa 9.600 dipendenti, un fatturato 2024 di 3,3 miliardi di euro e oltre 57 miliardi di confezioni prodotte, SIG è quotata alla Borsa svizzera (SIX) e opera in oltre 100 paesi.
