Morphologies


    Main morphologies of packaging: structural typologies, formal configurations, and design solutions adopted within packaging systems.

    The analysis of morphologies enables observation of how form, structure, and the articulation of components influence functional performance, product protection, logistical dynamics, and user interaction. 

    Considered in relation to materials, production processes, and design strategies, morphologies represent a key dimension for understanding the evolution of packaging solutions and the transformations currently affecting the packaging sector.

    Blister
    A type of packaging in which the item is secured between a preformed (usually transparent plastic) dome or “bubble” and a lidding layer, usually in the form of a heat sealable aluminium foil.
    The preformed part consists of at least one dome and may also be paperbased, whilst the covering layer may consist of a plastic film, paper or paperboard.
    Attachment of the lidding layer may be by stapling, heat-sealing, gluing, or other means.

    Blister
    Un tipo di imballaggio in cui l’articolo è fissato tra una cupola preformata (di solito in plastica trasparente) o “bolla” e uno strato di copertura, solitamente costituito da una pellicola di alluminio termosaldabile Il componente preformato è costituito da almeno un alveolo e può essere anche a base di carta, mentre lo strato di copertura può essere costituito da una pellicola di plastica, carta o cartoncino. Il fissaggio dello strato di copertura può avvenire tramite graffatura, termosaldatura, incollaggio o altri metodi.

    Confezione realizzata in materiale flessibile, di forma rettangolare e di spessore variabile, di piccole e medie dimensioni.
    Solitamente è saldata su 3 o 4 lati oppure saldato su 2 lati con una unica linea di unione che corre sul dorso "Pillow Pouch"
