This research and innovation space is dedicated to rethinking packaging as a complex artefact and an active component of the industrial, technological, and cultural transformations shaping contemporary supply chains. Packaging is conceived as a relational infrastructure that connects products, production systems, territories, and people within integrated dynamics.

The observation of emerging practices, the comparative analysis of case studies, the development of design tools, and the continuous updating of the theoretical and regulatory framework contribute to the construction of a structured knowledge infrastructure oriented towards experimentation and transfer. Digital technologies, sustainability strategies, and circular models are addressed as interdependent components of the project.

The aim is to contribute to the transformation of the packaging sector through a twin transition, circular and digital, supporting solutions that strengthen transparency, traceability, and the quality of experience along the supply chain, while generating environmental, social, and cultural value over time.
