Morphologies


    Main morphologies of packaging: structural typologies, formal configurations, and design solutions adopted within packaging systems.

    The analysis of morphologies enables observation of how form, structure, and the articulation of components influence functional performance, product protection, logistical dynamics, and user interaction. 

    Considered in relation to materials, production processes, and design strategies, morphologies represent a key dimension for understanding the evolution of packaging solutions and the transformations currently affecting the packaging sector.

    Bottle
    A bottle is a rigid or semi-rigid container, typically made of plastic or glass, characterized by a narrow neck or mouth compared to its body, designed for holding liquids, emulsions, or powders. Primarily used for storing and transporting goods, bottles often feature a cap, cork, or closure to prevent spills, evaporation, or contamination. The cross section of the bottle may be round, oval, square, oblong, or a combination of these.
    Bottiglia
    Una bottiglia è un contenitore rigido o semirigido, solitamente realizzato in plastica o vetro, caratterizzato da un collo o un’imboccatura stretta rispetto al corpo, progettato per contenere liquidi, emulsioni o polveri. Utilizzate principalmente per la conservazione e il trasporto di merci, le bottiglie sono spesso dotate di un tappo, un sughero o una chiusura per evitare fuoriuscite, evaporazione o contaminazione. La sezione trasversale della bottiglia può essere rotonda, ovale, quadrata, oblunga o una combinazione di queste.
