Purpose
The Commission Communication COM(2003) 302 outlines the Integrated Product Policy (IPP), aiming to develop a life cycle-based approach to enhance environmental sustainability. Its goal is to reconcile economic well-being and development needs with the reduction of environmental impacts, promoting more eco-friendly products and the competitiveness of European industry.
