Packaging waste
Any packaging or packaging material that, at the end of its use, is discarded by its holder and classified as waste.
This includes both used packaging and leftover materials from the packaging process.
Packaging becomes waste when it is separated from the product it contains and the holder intends to dispose of it, in accordance with current waste legislation.
Qualsiasi imballaggio o materiale da imballaggio che, al termine del suo utilizzo, viene dismesso dal detentore e acquisisce lo status di rifiuto.
Rientrano in questa categoria sia gli imballaggi usati, sia i residui di materiali impiegati per confezionare prodotti o merci.
Un imballaggio diventa rifiuto nel momento in cui viene separato dal prodotto contenuto e il detentore decide di disfarsene, ai sensi della normativa vigente.
