Carding
Fundamental operation of the textile fiber processing cycle, which has the aim of untangling them, making them parallel and free from foreign materials; it is carried out, on an industrial scale, by special machines called carding machines , while the carding of mattress wool is commonly carried out by hand using two tables equipped with curved metal tips, called cardasses .
