MIWA, developed in the Czech Republic in 2015 by MIWA Technologies, is a commercial system for reusable packaging using smart capsules and automated dispensers. Equipped with RFID/NFC tags, the capsules ensure traceability, safety, and efficient material flow management, while an app and information system provide real-time data. It meets the needs for “Awareness Promotion of Environmental Issues”, “Point-of-Sale Experience Improvement”, and “Packaging Reuse, Refill and Return Facilitation (R3 Circularity Strategy)”, fostering responsible and sustainable consumption.
