Replenish
Replenish Bottling, LLC is a US company based in West Hollywood, California, founded in 2008 by Jason Foster, who developed and patented the “Replenish Refill System” (or Smart Refill System): a reusable bottle fitted with a replaceable concentrate pod attached to its base, which also houses an internal measuring cup, allowing consumers to mix multi-surface cleaners, air fresheners and other largely water-based liquid products at home using their own water.
The system reduces shipping weight and volume by 16 to 20 times compared with a traditional single-use bottle, with a stated reduction in plastic, energy and CO2 emissions of up to 90%.
In 2011 Replenish entered a joint venture with Nypro Packaging and Eastman Chemical to scale up production of the pods and bottles, made from fully recyclable speciality PET resins; the system won the Bronze Medal at the 2011 Edison Awards in the Energy and Sustainability - Packaging category.
The company also offers white-label solutions to other brands wishing to adopt its refill platform, with a stated goal of eliminating one billion single-use plastic bottles.

Il sistema riduce il peso e il volume di trasporto da 16 a 20 volte rispetto alla bottiglia monouso tradizionale, con una riduzione dichiarata di plastica, energia ed emissioni di CO2 fino al 90%.
Nel 2011 Replenish ha stretto una joint venture con Nypro Packaging ed Eastman Chemical per la produzione su scala dei pod e delle bottiglie, realizzati in resine PET speciali completamente riciclabili; il sistema ha vinto la medaglia di bronzo Edison Award 2011 nella categoria Energy and Sustainability - Packaging.
L'azienda offre anche soluzioni in white label ad altri brand che vogliono adottare la propria piattaforma di ricarica, con l'obiettivo dichiarato di eliminare un miliardo di bottiglie di plastica monouso.
