IlVespaio
ilVespaio is a Milan-based network of designers, researchers and educators active since 2008 in ecodesign, design for all and sustainability. It develops socio-environmental dissemination projects, events, educational programmes, training activities, workshops and design-thinking initiatives for companies, institutions, communities, schools and families. Within the packaging system, it does not operate as an industrial packaging manufacturer, but as a design, consulting, cultural and methodological-transfer actor. Its relevance lies in its ability to transform production scraps and event waste into merchandising, new products or circular installations, contributing to prevention, reuse and awareness of material life cycles. It is also relevant to the extended packaging system because it works on the educational and communicative dimension of circularity, making impacts, behaviours and responsibilities understandable through playful tools, purpose-designed materials and participatory processes.
ilVespaio è un network milanese di designer, ricercatori ed educatori attivo dal 2008 nei campi dell’ecodesign, del design for all e della sostenibilità. Sviluppa progetti di divulgazione socio-ambientale, eventi, percorsi educativi, attività di formazione, workshop e iniziative di design thinking rivolte ad aziende, istituzioni, comunità, scuole e famiglie. Nel sistema del packaging non opera come produttore industriale di imballaggi, ma come soggetto di design, consulenza, cultura e trasferimento metodologico. La sua rilevanza riguarda la capacità di trasformare scarti di produzione e rifiuti di eventi in merchandising, nuovi prodotti o allestimenti circolari, contribuendo alla prevenzione, al riuso e alla sensibilizzazione sui cicli di vita dei materiali. È inoltre pertinente per l’extended packaging system perché lavora sulla dimensione educativa e comunicativa della circolarità, rendendo comprensibili impatti, comportamenti e responsabilità attraverso strumenti ludici, materiali progettati ad hoc e processi partecipativi.
