Valeria Bucchetti
Full Professor, Dipartimento di Design, Politecnico di Milano
She is Full Professor at the Design Department of Politecnico di Milano where she teaches “Visual Communication” in the Communication Design Degree and “Communication Design and Gender Culture” in the Design Master Degree and she is Chair BSc + MSc Communication Design.
Her interest involves visual and gender identities in communication design field. She studies theoretical aspects of identity systems and their communication components and developed projects of basic and applied research. She is a member of the board of the Ph.D Design board and of “Centro di Ricerca interuniversitario Culture di genere”.
She won the “Compasso d’Oro” Design Award as co-author of the project for the multimedia catalogue of the Poldi Pezzoli Museum (Milan, 1995) and received Honourable Mention, Compasso d’Oro ADI (XXV), for the project “WeMi. La città per il welfare”.
She is author of several books: La messa in scena del prodotto (1999), Packaging design (2005), Altre figure (2011), Anticorpi comunicativi (2012), Un’interfaccia per il welfare (2017), Progetto e culture visive (2018).
Mariana Flores García
Doctor of Architecture from the Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas, Doctor of Architecture with an International Industrial Mention in the area of Housing and Contemporary Habitat from the University of Seville, Master’s Degree in Eco-efficient Building and Neighbourhood Restoration from the University of Seville, Master’s Degree in Architectural Design from the Universidad la Salle Bajío, and a Degree in Architecture from the Universidad Autónoma de Durango Campus Zacatecas.
She collaborate with the Research Group of the Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation and Energy Eco-efficiency of the University of Seville. Doctorate tutor at the American University of Europe. Coordinator of Design and Analysis of Infrastructure and Public Works Projects at the Secretariat of Public Works of the Zacatecas State Government. International guest collaborator of BURO DAP (Office of Development + Architecture + Planning), an international organisation for cooperation and consultancy for sustainable urban development in cities in the southern hemisphere, with a presence in Asia (India), Latin America (Colombia), the USA (Montana) and Mexico. The lines of research, participations and national and international publications carried out are related to issues of environmental gerontology, housing and neighbourhood design, rehabilitation and energy eco-efficiency, sustainability, public space and the city.
Rodrigo Arias
Deputy manager of innovation at Agrosuper and academic Magister of innovation UC
Bio: Designer, Master in Innovation UC with specialization in Venture Capital at UC Berkeley. Executive background in corporate management of innovation and development of new adjacent businesses. Extensive knowledge and networks in the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem both in Chile and abroad.
Currently Assistant Manager of Product Innovation at Agrosuper. Addressing, from the ambidextrous, the exploitation of current business and the exploration of new business for the company, applying in parallel tools of entrepreneurship and open innovation.
